Gleisdorf Solar 2008

The International Symposium Gleisdorf Solar, which took place from 3rd to 5th September 2008, was already the ninth edition of an event of growing importance for the European Solar Community: 400 participants from 20 countries appreciated the manifold programme, attended the lectures and visited the exhibition.
One of the topics of the symposium was “Solar Cooling”, where Wolfram Sparber from EURAC presented “Modelling of solar combi plus systems – Framework and Hydraulic Scheme Proposals”, where he also reported on the experiences with defining promising hydraulic schemes for standard system applications in Solar Combi+.

EUROSUN 2008

By joining forces of ISES Europe and the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme, the Eurosun 2008 developed into the into the 1st International Conference on Solar Heating, Cooling and Buildings, to be held in Lisbon from October 8th to 10th 2008. The conference with the parallel exhibition “Building with the sun” will be a key event for all solar industry players. More than 500 participants from all over the world are expected to participate.
Alexandra Troi will present the Solar Combi+ project with its objectives and activities, giving a special focus to the results of the market analysis.

European Sustainable Energy Week 2009

Within the context of the European Sustainable Energy Week 2009, SOLAR COMBI+ will participate in a workshop on Solar Cooling, organized jointly with two other IEE-projects on Solar Cooling SOLAIR and SOLCO. The workshop will be held on the 10th of February 2009 in the Van Maerlant Building. More information and the possibility for online inscription will be available from October 2008 on the website of the European Sustainable Energy Week.
